Our aims include reducing harm to wild animals caused by human activity, promoting wild animal welfare and building an evidence base for the furthering of improved welfare for wild animals.

Committed to improving animal welfare

All members of the WAWC sit as independent individuals. They are appointed for the high level of expertise and experience they can bring to the Committee, in a variety of areas affecting the welfare of wild animals in the UK.
